Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Rasus Global events services, including the rasusevents.com website and other Rasus Global events online services, as well as any updates, new versions or new releases thereof. Any and all of the foregoing are referred to collectively and individually as “the Service”. The Service is provided by Rasus Global events (“We” or “Rasus Global events”).

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT BY ACCESSING, USING AND/OR DOWNLOADING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY, AND HEREBY CONSENT TO, THESE TERMS OF USE AND THE ASSOCIATED PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, THEN YOU MAY NOT USE, ACCESS, OR DOWNLOAD THE SERVICE.

A. Payment policy

Payment is due upon registration, and is required within 10 working days of the invoice issue date. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer. For details of alternative methods of payment, please contact Customer Services. To ensure admittance, full payment must be received prior to the event. Advance purchase rates are pre-payable at time of booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments should be made in dollars.

Taxes. Fees may be subject to sales tax, value added tax, or other taxes and duties which, if applicable, will be charged in addition to the fees.

Confirmation. We shall confirm your participation after receiving the signed pre-registration form. The client will receive the invoice within 24 hours of sending the signed form. Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card.

B. Registering for webinars and online conferences

Registration to a webinar or online conference is made by filling out a form. Upon receipt of both the registration form and payment (via credit card, bank transfer or PayPal), the client will be sent a confirmation of registration as well as an invoice via email. Joining instructions will be sent three days prior to the webinar/online conference (or immediately in the case of those booking within two days of the webinar date).

Delegates may not share a pass between multiple attendees without prior authorization. Payment must be received in full prior to the webinar start date. The client must pay each invoice within 10 days from the issued date. If the client books any course within 14 days before the webinar’s start date, then payment is due immediately.

Please note that registrations for webinars are for the sole use of the registrant, and may not be shared.

You must notify us by email at least 48 hours in advance of the conference if you wish to send a substitute participant. If you are unable to find a substitute, please notify us in writing no later than 10 days prior to the conference date and a credit voucher will be issued to you for the full amount paid, redeemable against any other Rasus Global events conference during the next 12 months.

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure that your valid email is entered correctly on the registration form. Be sure to check your junk email box too in case any of your Virtual Event email(s) are caught by spam filters.

You will receive essential information for registered attendees electronically at the email address and mailing address that are provided on your registration form. In addition, you will also be added to the Virtual Event participant list for notifications of future Virtual Events. If you would like to opt out of any of these benefits, a link to do so is provided in each email.

C. Cancellations, postponements and compensation

If Rasus Global events is prevented from carrying out its obligations pertaining to an Event for which you have already registered, as a result of any cause beyond its control; or if such Event cannot be virtually conducted because of (a) software malfunction or issue with the hosting platform (b) acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, curtailment or restriction on transportation facilities, or any other comparable calamity, casualty or condition (collectively ‘Force Majeure’) Rasus Global events shall have the right to immediately terminate the affected Event or Virtual Event without liability and shall be relieved of its obligations to you, the Registrant.

If the affected Event or Virtual Event is terminated due to Force Majeure before the first day of the Virtual Event, then Rasus Global events will reschedule the affected Virtual Event and your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled Event.

Cancellation of an event

If Rasus Global events cancels an Event or Virtual Event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the fee paid. You may use this credit for another Rasus Global events (to be mutually agreed with Rasus Global events) which must occur within 12 months from the date of cancellation.

Postponement of an event

If Rasus Global events postpones an event for any reason and the delegate is unable or unwilling to attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit for 100% of the fee paid. You may use this credit for another Rasus Global events (to be mutually agreed with Rasus Global events) which must occur within 12 months from the date of postponement.

Permanent cancellation of an event

If an event is cancelled for any reason whatsoever – including, but not limited to any occurrence of Force Majeure – and if that event cannot be postponed to a later date nor merged with another event, the client will receive 100% refund of the registration fee within a period of 30 working days from the date of cancellation.

Substitution or alteration of speakers or topics

Please note that, while speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publication, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of speakers and/or topics. As such, Rasus Global events reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.

In the case of changes to the program, postponing a webinar, or substitution of lecturers (for example because of illness) there is no entitlement to reimbursement of the registration fee. In the case of permanent cancellation of an event by Rasus Global events, registrants do have the right to reimbursement of the registration fee. With that exception, services provided by Rasus Global events are not subject to any reclaim or complaint procedures.

Cancellation of a delegate’s attendance by the organizer

Rasus Global events reserves the right to cancel a delegate’s attendance at any time, for any reason. If Rasus Global events cancels your attendance you will be entitled to a full refund of the fee paid. Rasus Global events is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event or the cancellation of your attendance.

Except in the circumstances specified above, a registrant may not be reimbursed for cancelling attendance.

D. Virtual Events – Participant Requirements

Access

Your registration entitles you to access to the Virtual Event for which you have registered. Any additional costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and the organizers of the Virtual Event shall have no liability for such costs.

Virtual Event Content

You acknowledge and agree that Rasus Global events reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Virtual Event at its sole discretion, including, but not limited to, the Virtual Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time. Virtual Event content shall be recorded by Rasus Global events and will be accessible to paid registrants.

Use of Likeness

By participating in a Rasus Global events Virtual Event you acknowledge and agree to grant Rasus Global events the right to record, film, livestream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media available either currently or hereafter; and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.

Prohibited Conduct

Limitations on Use. By registering for a Rasus Global events Virtual Event, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your access link and/or code (whether complimentary or paid for) unless such transfer is granted by Rasus Global events. If we determine that you have violated this policy, Rasus Global events may cancel your access, retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future Virtual Events.

E. Website Content and Copyright

This Website is the property of Rasus Global events and is protected by U.S. and international copyright law and conventions. Rasus Global events grants to User the right to access and use the Website, so long as such use is for internal information purposes, and that the User does not alter, copy, disseminate, redistribute or republish any content or feature of this Website. The user acknowledges that access to and use of this Website is subject to these Terms of Use, and any expanded access or use must be approved in writing by Rasus Global events.

Changes or Updates to the Website

Rasus Global events reserves the right to change, update or discontinue any aspect of this Website at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Website after any such change constitutes your agreement to these Terms of Use, as modified.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Rasus Global events does not make any warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to this Website. Although Rasus Global events takes reasonable steps to screen this Website for infection by viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code manifesting contaminating or destructive properties, Rasus Global events cannot guarantee that it will be free of infection or that it will be available at any particular time or location.

Intellectual Property

The text, photographs, video, graphics, metadata, quotes, data, information, the overall “look and feel”, and all protectable intellectual property available through the Service (“Content”) is the property of Rasus Global events and its licensors. It is provided by Rasus Global events and its licensors to you for your personal use and information only. You may not use the Content or Service for any commercial purpose. You may not remove, alter, forward, scrape, copy, sell, distribute, retransmit, create derivative works or otherwise make available the Content to third parties without our prior written consent, except as occasionally permitted by any sharing functionality in the Service that expressly allows you to share Content or links to Content with a few other individuals. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discern the source code or architecture of any feature or component of the Service.

You acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights in the Service and the Content (in whole and in part), including, but not limited to, all copyright and trademarks, are and shall remain the property of Rasus Global events, its affiliates, and/or our licensors, and you shall not acquire any rights in them. Except for the limited license expressly set forth herein, you are not conferred any right, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, under copyright or other intellectual property rights, either now or in the future. We have arrangements with third party providers of printing services to enable you to purchase re-prints of certain Content (accessible through “Reprint” links on the Service).

You may be permitted to register or otherwise create a user account, username or password (your “Registration”) that allow you to access or receive certain Content and/or to participate or utilize certain features of the Service, including features in which you interact with us or other users. You represent and warrant that the information provided in your Registration is complete and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you will inform us of any changes to your Registration information. You are responsible for the use of any password you create as part of your Registration and for maintaining its confidentiality. You agree that we may use this password to identify you. We reserve the right to deny, restrict or terminate your access to any Content or feature reached via such Registration process for any reason, in our sole discretion.

Registration data and any other information we obtain about you will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy By submitting information to us as part of any Registration, you consent to the transfer of such information outside of your country. We reserve the right to access and disclose any information about you (including personal data given in your Registration) in order to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders or lawful governmental requests; to operate our systems properly; and to protect our rights and the safety or interests of others, at our sole discretion.

F. Event or Virtual Event Property rights

All intellectual property rights, content, and materials distributed at (or in connection with) a Rasus Global events or Virtual Event are owned either by Rasus Global events, the event sponsors, or speakers presenting at the event.

You may not use or reproduce, or allow anyone else to use or reproduce, any trademarks or other trade names, content or material distributed at or in connection with any Rasus Global events or Virtual Event for any reason without the prior written permission of Rasus Global events.

For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to vest in you any legal or beneficial right in or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or used under license by Rasus Global events or any of its affiliates; nor does this Agreement grant to you any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of Rasus Global events or its affiliates, all of which shall at all times remain the exclusive property of Rasus Global events and its affiliates.

Rasus Global events gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the Event or Virtual Event or any materials related thereto, to the fullest extent possible under the laws governing this Agreement, disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, and merchantability. A Rasus Global events Event or Virtual Event is provided on an “as-is” basis. The views, opinions, and positions expressed by the speakers, attendees, or sponsors at the event are theirs alone and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, or positions of Rasus Global events or any employee thereof. Rasus Global events makes no representations as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, suitability, or validity of any information presented by speakers, attendees, or sponsors at a Rasus Global events Virtual Event and will not be liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in this information or any losses, injuries, or damages arising from its display or use. Rasus Global events does not endorse, and expressly disclaims all liability relating to, any of the products or services provided by speakers, attendees, or sponsors.

G. Time Limitation to File A Claim

You understand and hereby agree to submit any and all claims in writing to the Company within 30 days and if you choose to file any suit against the Company that it must be no later than one year after claim, and that the failure to timely do so shall result in the forfeiture of the right to such claim.
